Does anyone else have a major sweet tooth, besides me?! Come on, y’all, I can’t be the only one that can eat dessert for every meal! (Or maybe I am lol). My love for sweets can get me into trouble at times! I have to be really careful and try not to devour more than my allotted portion! This can be tough; especially when there are cinnamon rolls involved! Lol!

I love to bake, but I’m still working to perfect this hobby. Usually when I bake, I have problems with my dough! Sometimes my dough won’t turn out right or I just don’t have time to wait for it to rise. I came across this popular 2-Ingredient dough and became intrigued! I just had to try it and see what all of the drama was about! Who knew that Greek yogurt and flour would make a nice dough! I played with the proportions a little bit until I found the perfect ratio!

My dough looked perfect! When combining and kneeding the ingredients, you have to gradually add more flour because the dough can be sticky. After I kneaded the dough, I formed it into a ball and rolled it out into a slightly thin layer. I melted some margarine and added cinnamon and sugar. I evenly applied the butter mixture on the dough and rolled it up. I cut the dough into about 1 inch thick rolls, laid them on a baking sheet, and popped them into the oven! Soooo easy!

These 95-Calorie Gooey Cinnamon Rolls turned out extremely yummy!! I couldn’t believe they were only 95 calories each! I ate 2…and then went back and ate 2 more! Lol! I couldn’t help myself! For the finishing touch, I added a little glaze and pecans on top! This is truly my new favorite dessert! Make a batch today, and I’m pretty sure you’ll agree with me!

    1. Hi! I’m sure you could use wheat flour, but it may result in a slightly tougher product. Give it a try and let me know how it turns out! ?

Hi, your recipe sounds delicious! You might want to try self-rising flour in place of the all purpose flour. I’m a WW member and I just got this 2-ingredient dough recipe where you can make a lot of different things, like pizza dough, pita chips and pretzel nuggets. It’s so easy and low in SmartPoints, too!

    Sincerely,
    Linda

    1. Yes, you can freeze them! 🙂

  5. Do they rise if you don’t use any baking soda or baking powder? I would think they’d be more like a cookie than a roll.

    Reply

    1. Hi! They rose when they were baking. The texture was almost like a very soft & fluffy pretzel.

    2. Mine have been in the oven for 15 minutes and they aren’t rising, they still look exactly the same as when I placed them in. Did yours take longer to rise?

      Reply

      1. since this is a different type of dough than the usual cinnamon roll dough, they are not going to rise that much. They will remain fairly small, but they will be delicious!

  6. How big is each cinnamon roll, approximately? I’m assuming not huge like a Cinnabon, but are they like the super-tiny small pillsbury ones?

    Reply

    1. Hi! They are small, but not as tiny as the pillsbury ones!

  9. Hi Andy, I tried this recipe but my buns did not rise much at all and resulted in a tough dough. The only thing I did differently was I substituted Splenda for the sugar. My dough seemed to be less sticky than you discussed. Any thoughts?

    1. Hi! These texture of these rolls are more like a soft bagel, so they won’t rise that much while baked.

These tasted amazing!! I was able to make 14 mini cinnamon buns, however even with the smaller size of the buns they took quite a bit longer to cook. I had them in the oven approx. 15 minutes longer than suggested to get the middle to cook through. Otherwise, they tasted amazing (even with subbing 1/4 C flour for WW flour)

This was really good! I used brown sugar instead of white and I added raisins. I also used self rising flour instead of all purpose. Mine did 13 rolls and my 4 kids and husband gave them 2 thumbs up!

These sound and look so good! I would like to use almond or coconut flour instead. I read that a 3:1 ratio of almond to coconut flour could mimic all purpose flour. Do you think this could work?
